Herbed Peas

Fresh herbs dress up peas that please!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 6 cups fresh or frozen peas, thawed
  • 3 Tbsp minced fresh parsely
  • 3 Tbsp minced fresh basil
  • 1 Tsp sugar
  • 3/4 Tsp salt
  • 1/2 Tsp pepper

Directions:

Step 1.

In a large skillet, saute onions in butter until tender.

Step 2.

Stir in the peas, parsley, basil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Saute for 3 minutes.

Step 1.

Reduce heat; cover and cook 3-5 minutes longer or until peas are tender.

Step 1.

Serve with a slotted spoon.
