Lemon Garlic Roasted Asparagus

When prepared properly, asparagus should have a nice crunch on the outside, while staying tender on the inside.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of asparagus, rinsed & ends trimmed off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • salt & pepper

Directions:

Step 1.

Preheat oven to 425.

Step 2.

Line a baking sheet with non stick foil.

Step 3.

Toss asparagus with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Step 4.

Place asparagus in a single layer on the lined baking sheet.

Step 5.

Roast in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
